Bio:
CROSSOVER was born in 1997 from the ashes of other bands, originally named as Zion. During September of 1999, they record their first promo CD called Promo 2000. The line-up is finalized and CROSSOVER transforms their music with a harder and darker sound. During January of 2002 they record at Nemesis Studios and put into circulation officially in an independent production, their first Mini CD titled "Over The Cross" (Rate: 9/10 and Demo of the Month in Metal Hammer Magazine).

After the release of this mCD CROSSOVER got a lot of good reviews and it was the demo of the month in the Greek Metal Hammer magazine, April 2002 (Rate: 9/10). CROSSOVER received plenty of offers and they finally signed with the French, Dead Sun Records. Crossover also participate in many collections of the extreme sound all over the world such as "Greece Attacks Vol.II". The debut album was out on October 2002 under the title "Debauchery" and has 12 tracks (Rate: 8/10).

Many live appearances in Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Cyprus with many bands such as Rotting Christ, Septic Flesh, Firewind, Nightfall, Naer Mataron, Obsecration, Kawir, Inactive Messiah and Homo Iratus from our homeland and Manowar (USA), Suffocation (USA), Immolation (USA), Benediction (UK), Destruction (DE), Tiamat (SWE), Dark Funeral (SWE), Marduk (SWE) (3 shows), Ancient (NOR) (2 shows), Rhapsody of Fire (IT), Epica (NL), Pentagram (TUR), Hollyhell (USA), Cenotaph (TUR), Devilish Impressions (PL), Absurdity (FR), Vulvulator (UA), Demenzia (BG), The A.X.E. Project (BG), Crystalnacht (BG), Grimegod (RO) (4 shows), Demoral (RU), Vomigod (PL), In Memory (IT) (2 Shows), Arkhon (CY), Entity (CY), Sabbah Navahthani (CY).

In 2004 CROSSOVER signed with Sleaszy Rider Records (GR) for 2 records. The latest album "Dogma" (SRR 026) with guest appearance on vocals by Kaiaphas (ex Ancient) is available in all specialist music stores. (Rate: 8/10)

Crossover continue to play many important gigs, while the year 2006 finds the band heavily working on the new material for the forthcoming full-length release entitled "Pythagorized" with guest appearances on vocals by Aphazel (Ancient), Jan (Agathocles), Tristessa (Astarte), Nick (Lloth, Insected), Liza (En-garde), for their second release on Sleaszy Rider Records. Following some parting of ways with ex-embers and also resolving differences on artistic direction, which resulted in the current line-up of the band, Crossover is now free of contract is looking for a label to materialize and distribute the solid eclectic blasphemy of Pythagorized, their most ambitious project yet!

Most of the lyrics for ‘Pythagorized’ are written by ZION and Marietta Malta while the music is all by CROSSOVER and MichayeL.
